Social Media Supervisor

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Supervisor to join our team. The Social Media Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing our social media department, managing the team, and ensuring the successful execution of social media strategies for our clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of social media platforms and strategies, coupled with strong leadership skills for guiding a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute strategic social media plans aligned with client goals and objectives.
    • Proactively address client needs and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Handle and resolve client criticisms and concerns related to social media strategy.
    • Manage social media for assigned clients.
    • Oversee all social media accounts managed by the team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
    • Spearhead the use of reporting software to track and analyze social media performance and prepare regular reports for clients.
    • Review and approve all social media content produced by the team to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in marketing, particularly in social media management, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership and Support:
    • Set clear and achievable goals for team members, offering coaching, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth.
    • Hold monthly team meetings to discuss relevant topics, share insights, and align on team goals.
    • Perform comprehensive performance reviews with team members, providing constructive feedback and recognition.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the team's workload, projects, and deadlines, ensuring efficient workload management.
    • Foster a culture of growth and development within the team, continuously improving processes and strategies.
    • Formulate and implement scheduling strategies to effectively manage and address staffing deficiencies and absences.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to social media platforms and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of 5+ years in social media management, showcasing expertise in developing and executing successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns concurrently, delivering consistent and impactful results.
  • Expertise in developing and managing paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including ad creation, targeting, and optimization.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality content across all platforms.
  • Management skills, including team leadership, project management, and strategic planning.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing social media analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for exploring and implementing innovative social media strategies and staying abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms.
